Another really rough draft

This is another rough edit, just showing some more of the footage we have and how it could be used. After editing both these drafts, i've decided we definitely need more performance shots of jack, and also more varied lip syncing shots and they really help finish off the video nicely.

imovie '08 is terrible, but we'll do the best we can for tomorrows deadline!

Filming

Today we got the final parts of our filming done. We managed to get Jeff, Jack and Lauren for the amount of time needed so it all worked perfectly. (got the final shot with 1 min of battery time left) The mise-en-scene was pretty much perfect at The Greyhound, and we got a choice of a few rooms which allowed us to refine our needs even further. We ended up with a really sweet little room at the top floor of the hotel.
Although i'm relatively happy with the shots we got, we will definitely have to reshoot the indoor shots before the final deadline as the lighting is very poor at some points and lets the overall quality down. The costumes we're also 'thrown' together at quite late notice so we will have to arrange to buy some costumes, and we'd also like Jacks hair to grow just a bit more before the next shoot.
However, as soon as I got in (around 6 oclock-ish) I started editting our video to make sure we definitely have something to hand in on Friday. So here is the basic outline of our video, we have more shots that the girls will probably want to put in but for now, here's my unaided version. (Saturation on clips is lowered to 45% to help give an aged look)


P.S. remember this is the drafts, draft so it is really rough and the ending has not been finalised yet, and also we are missing the book shots
