Costume. Lauren.

So we took a trip to the drama departments costume closet, which have a variety of costumes that we could use that where relevant to the time period that we have chosen.

We picked out a pocka dot rap around dress which comes just below the knee, half way between the calf and the ankle. This is a very 1940s style tight around the waist and flowing around the legs. We originally had Lauren in trousers in the outdoor shots but we have decided that the skirt will flow more and look better on camera. The second dress you will see is the long sleeved navy blue long dress, this is also a very good example of a 1940s dress it has shoulder pads which where very fashionable back then, It also has the belt like material band in the middle also showing the skinny waist which was very desirable.
