That'd be an interesting style to try and emulate. Remember to consider symatry when constructing this, the foals have gone for a centrally aligned image with more space above the image.
The image in yours is beautifully drawn but I find the text distracts. Also consider blogging about the eyes, the foals image doesn't make eye contact as the gaze is over our shoulder, Jack (Jacques) looks us squarely in the eye (but is fighting against the text to his left).
Also look into the art of Egon Schiele as that in my mind inspired the foals artist. Bear in mind his slightly rougher style might not be appropriate for your work.
